Don't hesitate to call if you have any questions

Do I need a scheduled appointment?

Yes, we appreciate appointments because we then can guarantee a consultant will be available to work with you and make sure you receive the attention you deserve!

When should I order my bridal gown / bridesmaids / tuxedos?

  • ⚬ Bridal gowns should be ordered about 9 months ahead of the wedding.
  • ⚬ Bridesmaids dresses should be ordered 6 months ahead of the wedding.
  • ⚬ Mothers should order about 5 months before the wedding.
  • ⚬ Tuxedos/suits should be ordered no later than 8 weeks before the wedding.

Do you do alterations?

Yes, we do alterations on any dress purchased at Victorian Bridal. Unfortunately, we are not offering outside alterations at this time. All alterations are at an additional cost.

What should I bring to my bridal appointment?

Many brides like to wear a strapless bra when trying on gowns, but this is optional. Others will bring in a favorite pair of heels to try on with the dresses. Otherwise, we just need you! A brand new bride!

Who should I bring?

Because we are a boutique, seating can be limited, especially on Saturdays. We generally recommend bringing no more than 3-4 people. If you have a large group you would like to bring, weekdays are a good time since the shop is quieter. Please call us for other options!

How long are bridal appointments?

Generally, we do not have a strict time limit on appointments. However, because Saturdays can be very busy, we limit all appointment times at a maximum 2 hours.

What amount is needed to place my order?

Victorian Bridal requires a 60% deposit to order all dresses. The remaining balance is due when the dress leaves the store at pickup. (No checks are accepted at final pick-up)

What prices are your wedding gowns?

We carry dresses between $800.00 - $2000.00. Also, we have an ever-changing selection of discontinued sample gowns starting at $99.00.

How do I know what size to order?

After you choose your dress, your bridal consultant will take your measurements and compare them to the designers's size chart. Together, you will decide which size will be the best choice. Please understand that alterations are usually necessary to ensure a perfect fit. As a rule of thumb, bridal and bridesmaids dresses run 1 or 2 sizes smaller than regular street clothes.

What if my bridesmaids live all over?

In order to enjoy the discounts your maids will receive when the bridal gown is purchased with us, your out-of-town maids can call us with their measurements! We can place their order and deposit over the phone, and they will receive the same discount as any maids that order in-store!
