Creating your ideal menswear look

Sizing and Orders
After the attire for the wedding party is picked out by the bride/groom, everyone renting a suit may call to set up a time to be measured for their sizes. This takes about 10 minutes per person. Measurements may also be called in for out of town groomsmen and payment made over the phone. Out of town groomsmen may get measured at any formalwear store and call their information in to us. Payment in full is due at this time if they would like their suit shipped to their home. We try our best to get the correct sizes in, based on the information we receive.
A $50.00 down payment is required to get a suit order placed. Final payment is due upon pick-up. Suits will NOT be ordered until we have received payment.
If someone is having their suit shipped to their home, payment in full is required when they get sized at Victorian Bridal, or when they call in their measurements. At-home delivery suits will NOT be ordered without payment in full.
Measurements allow us to get as close as possible for sizing, but replacement pieces are sometimes needed once the customer does their final fitting and tries the suit on, in order to assure a perfect fit. Please plan to do a final fitting the week of the wedding.
Suit Rental Delivery
When you choose to rent, our tuxes/suits arrive the week of your wedding. Please understand this is completely normal!
Victorian Bridal will call the bride and/or groom when the suits are delivered to us. This is typically Monday the week of the wedding. We will update you on all deliveries so please make sure to check your voicemail if we don’t get ahold of you.
We do not call each person in the wedding individually, so it is the responsibility of the bride/groom to let their wedding party know when the suits are in.
Final Fittings and Replacements
All tuxes/suits must be tried on by Wednesday 7:00pm the week of the wedding.
Because suits are rental items, and not individually tailored, it is very strongly recommended that each person renting a suit come in for a final fitting once the attire has been delivered.
Most of our suit rentals are slim-fit, meaning they run small and will fit more “snug” and fitted than normal clothes. Because of this, sizes may be different than your every-day pants, shirts, etc.
We can only guarantee a proper fit by having you try on all items, and will correct any fit issues right away. Measurements are a starting point, and all formal clothes fit differently. If something does not fit comfortably, we will order a replacement piece or alter the item in-store at no additional cost if tried on by Wednesday 7:00pm.
Replacements take 2 days to arrive. For example, a replacement ordered Wednesday will arrive Friday. If someone tries on their suit Thursday and something does not fit, they are responsible for paying shipping costs on any needed replacements. If someone tries on their suit Friday and something does not fit, there are NO options. We cannot get Saturday deliveries for replacements.
Victorian Bridal cannot assume responsibility for the fit of a tux or suit if someone in the wedding party does not do a final fitting.
At-home Delivery
If anyone in the wedding party cannot be to Victorian Bridal by Wednesday 7:00pm the week of the wedding for a final fitting, we very strongly encourage at-home delivery. The suit will be delivered directly to a home address for the customer to try on on their own schedule.
Tuxes/suits can be shipped anywhere in the US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) for a flat rate of $12. 6 or less suits can be shipped to one address for $12. 7-12 suits can be shipped to one address for $24 and 13-18 suits for $36.
At-home delivery suits arrive to the provided address Wednesday-Friday the week BEFORE the wedding giving the customer ample time to try it on at home. During the busy season, suits occasionally may arrive Monday the week of.
If anyone getting their suit shipped to home would like a more accurate delivery estimate, they may call Victorian Bridal Monday the week before the wedding, and we can track their package.
Once a suit is delivered, it should be tried on as soon as possible. As with suits picked up in-store, we must be made aware of fit issues by the Wednesday 7:00pm deadline. The sooner we receive a call with fit issues, the sooner we can get a new size ordered and on its way to you.
We ask that the person who will be wearing the suit for the wedding be the one to call Victorian Bridal if an item doesn’t fit comfortably. It’s much easier to determine what new sizing to order if we can speak to the person directly, rather than a third party.
For any questions on how a suit or item should be fitting, please do not hesitate to call us. We are happy to answer fit questions and make sure you look great in your attire!
Returns and Late Fees
All suits and rental items are due back to Victorian Bridal the Monday following the wedding by 5:00pm.
We recommend brides/grooms designate one person to collect all suits and return everything Monday, in order to avoid late fees. Please return items on the hangers, and make sure your name is on your suit somehow so we can identify it.
If anyone is missing an item, we call that person directly. If we cannot get ahold of them, we will then call the bride/groom to get the item returned as quickly as possible. If we cannot get ahold of the person whose item(s) are missing, the credit card on file from the bride/groom will be charged until the items are returned, or the full replacement fee if the item(s) is reached.
Our tuxedo supplier charges late return fees to us if items are missing or late. If an item or suit is returned late, the charge is $50/day until the item is returned. If an item or suit is missing and never returned, the tuxedo supplier will charge a replacement fee of $400-800 based on the specific suit.
Again, please do not hesitate to call Victorian Bridal with any questions, we are here to help and make sure wedding photos look amazing with well-fitting suits!
